We Dislike:
- Only picks up synced music.
- Few bugs.
Good Points:
The popular doubleTwist program for Windows / Mac have made this application. You sync your items via doubleTwist and it shows up on their application. The player has been split up by type and you can have music, videos and playlists. Their player looks better than the default media player and it has some good features on it for example ratings, playlists, podcasts etc. It is not completed yet and so there will be more features added.
Bad Points:
There are only two real issues with the application and the first issue is that as its a new application they have not fixed all the bugs on it. The second issue is that it only picks up media that you have synced using doubleTwist.
Overview:
Overall its a good start as a media player thats similar to iTunes and the iPod default media player, however its not completely finished and so it will be buggy. They have stated that there will probably be a price tag on it and so if you use doubleTwist then its worth downloading it now.
Overall Rating: 8 / 10
