Good Points:
Speed Test tests both the upload speed and the download speed of your device. It can test and accuracy tell you your network speed wether your connected to a 2G, 3G, 4G or even your WiFi connection. It will give you the information after its completed and it will keep a history of the past tests that you have completed, which is a good way to tell where the fastest internet is in your location.
It has a few useful options on it. The first option is you can either let it choose a location for the test server or you can choose it, however either way it will tell you the server it has picked and its location. The second option is to choose the form of measurement, some people find it easier to test their speed if they use a more common (for their country) form of measurement. An example of this is that I find it better to measure it with kB/s instead of the default kbps.
Bad Points:
Speed Test is very accurate and I have found it personally to be the most accurate speed test tool on the android market, however its not perfect and so chances are that it will be off once in a while.
Overview:
Overall it a very accurate method of knowing your network speed. It keeps a history and lets you choose the measurement method and so if you need / want to know your network / WiFi speed then this is the best application for the job.
